Ejector Trailer

Pushing a load out and off a trailer without tipping is not new and has been done for several years by overseas manufactures, but it is new to us and new to the UK.

The “Ejector” trailer (also called a push-off trailer) offers you several benefits over the standard tipping trailer. We are pleased to be the first UK manufacture to offer you this British Built design.

  1. Pushing its load out instead of tipping it makes this Ejector trailer much more stable and removes the danger of turning over that is a risk with standard tipping trailers. If the trailer is going to operate in a confined area and within strict health and safety rules, the Ejector trailer is ideal. It is very safe to operate with no danger of tipping over.
  2. The force of the ram system can be used to increase the trailer's carrying capacity by at least 30%. This is achieved by compressing the load, then withdrawing the front headboard and refilling the body. In the case of silage, wood chip, compost or soft leaf products like parsley, a trailer of this size might only be capable of carrying 7 to 8 tons, but by compressing the load you can greatly increase the load.
  3. A number of farmers have increased the size of their combine and wish to increase the size of their trailers' carrying capacity but are restricted by the height of the building they are tipping in. The Ejector trailer overcomes this problem and can be used in the lowest of buildings. The increased cost of the ejection system is usually much lower that the cost of lifting a building’s roof, making this trailer a very economic solution to the problem.
  4. In the near future we will add two new features to the Ejector trailer:
    1. The taildoor will become interchangeable with a spreader adaptation creating a new muck spreader for 2012.
    2. We will adapt a rear auger to make it a chaser bin.

Perfect In Low Sheds

The Video below shows a customer who was able to make use of a low building to store potatoes. This would have been impossible with a standard tipping trailer, but thanks to the Ejector system, he can make use of otherwise wasted space.
