Majestic Tri-axle Trailer

This is the future of agricultural transportation. The Tri-axle Majestic trailer stands out here in the UK, but in Europe its the norm.

As European machine’s sizes and their production performance increases, the capacity and performance required of agricultural trailers increases.

Using larger trailers allows Larington customers to be more efficient and in turn to reduce their carbon footprint.

Using three axles reduces the ground pressure that the trailer exerts by a third, helping to keep the trailer on top of the ground and helping it avoid having to turn against deep ruts.

The position of the suspension is further forward than a tandem axle trailer’s, making its turning circle smaller, with some customers noting that the trailer turns better into small gateways.

Larrington Trailers and the farming community in general is looking forward to a change in the law to allow for increased carrying capacities in line with larger tractors and harvesting machinery.

Presently the Construction and Use Regulations 1986 as amended allow a maximum tractor, trailer and load combined weight of 24,390kg to travel on HM Highways. There are no restrictions for travel/use on private land.

The trailer can be fitted with a steering axle.
