Larrington Trailers at Agritechnica in Hannover

Agritechnica visitors inspecting the latest Larrington Trailer in HanoverThe Agritechnica show is the largest Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery in the world, and this year Larrington Trailers was there to show off their latest trailer.

More than 415,000 visitors, including about 100,000 from outside Germany, came to the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover to see what the 2,700 exhibitors had to offer.

Larrington Trailers had an early set back when their Majestic Trailer was fire damaged on a busy autobahn on route to the show, but by the start of the show a new Majestic Trailer was on site to demonstrate the new features available on the latest Larrington Trailers.

Front Page News: Silage Side Trailer on Farmers Weekly Front Page

The Larrington Silage Side Trailer is being featured on the front page of this week's Farmers Weekly magazine.

The trailer can be seen unloading silage for O.J. Neil Contracting, tipped to 60 degrees, with it's taildoor opened to 90 degrees.

Holt Farm Machinery Club visits the Larrington Factory

Richard showing guests the latest Larringron trailersThe Holt Farm Machinery Club visited the Larrington factory in Boston on Wednesday and was shown around by owner Richard Larrington.

Malcolm Greves was kind enough to send us some of the member's pictures, which you can see here. The pictures were taken in the newly built paint and inspection bay at the Larrington factory.

By all accounts the group of about 20 farmers visiting the factory on the day found it very interesting, with Richard doing his best to show them as much of the trailer building process as possible.

Richard Larrington talks about his concearns with the present transport regulations and their impact on the farming community

Update:  We have been contacted by Peter Garbutt from the NFU and held a meeting at our factory to discuss issues raised by the petition.

We have also been contacted by Simon Henley from Farmers Guardian who have written an article on the subject of greater trailer weights. The article will be published this week.

As stated on the petition I feel we should MOT tractors, however following discussions with concerned parties it appears it is unlikely that this will happen. Any requirement that might increase government...
