The Drawbar.
Heavy duty sprung drawbar, fitted wit ha swivel towing eye as standard. The 8 bolt flange allows you to quickly perform any required maintenance or simply swap the swivel towing eye with either a fixed hitch or a scharmuller spoon; all withouot having to grind anything off or weld anything on.
Suspension & Axles
Heavy duty 100mm wide multi-leaf 24T suspension complete with steel insert bushes giving you a stronger and longer lasting suspension compared to other trailer manufacturers. 127mm round 10 stud commercial axles with 420x180 S cam brakes provide the braking required for either hydraulic or air braking systems.
The Chassis
Our patented "M" style chassis is folded and formed from full lengths of 6mm steel plate. IT is tougher and lighter than an equivilent box section chassis supplied by other trailer manufacturers.
High Visibility Grill.
Full vision front grill with plastic cover, which can be removed when using the trailer with root crops is included.
Secured Taildoor.
A newly designed taildoor which lifts the door upwards first and then pivots the door open. This idea is in use by other manufacturers and is well tried and tested but Larrington Trailers have gone one stage further; welded bushes that turn against the holding plates when the door closes reduce the wear on the locking pins. The holding plates can also be adjusted to maintain the seal around the door's edge. This is unique to the Larrington build and design, helping to reduce wear, maintenance, and down-time !
